This Isn't A Protest
it's a riot.Somebody throws a bike in the direction of a police horse, the horse bolts, the policewoman is thrown off the horse and the crowds cheer.The riot police should all be out if this continues and more people arrested. The protests should be stopped, now.

Like all things it seems, what was intended as a peaceful protest for a righteous cause has been overrun by thugs and hooligans out for thrills and whatever they can loot.
These pieces of shi ite need to be rounded up, they are not only criminals, but they are destroying the intent of the protesters, who are being made guilty by an association they do not want. Don't be fooled into thinking those rioters give an eff about lives of any colour, black or white.
If BLM have an iota of sense, they'll be doing all they can to condemn the riots and help the police identify the culprits, or their name will be (sorry for this) blackened for good.

People talk about hard won freedoms; and we could have been under the jackboot etc but we are not free. This govt has shut the country down because of the hard won freedoms. We are not free by any stretch of the imagination. People have become apologising wimps, overseen by a nanny state. That's freedom for you.
A solicitor who represents black people oppressed by the police in the UK explained it on LBC last night- the protestors were all peaceful. Any violence at such demonstrations comes from state planted infiltrators whose role is to discredit the protest movement. It's the same with looting and with stone throwing- the piles of rubble (not sure if that was London or US) were conveniently planted by the state)
If they are still standing shoulder to shoulder literally they are obviously morons as they will be taking anything they contract back to their family and friends. I have no problem with protesting as long as its within the law and socially distanced. They would gain more support and respect if they complied with those simple elements. It may be there is the usual rent a mob who will protest against anything clouding the issue but they put lots of people at risk.

What nonsense. If you think we are prisoners because of an attempt to minimise the spread of a deadly pandemic then go live in Wuhan.
There you will see the measures taken to maintain lockdown and the tactics used by the authorities against offenders.They drag people out their houses and doctors who speak out disappear. You think we have it bad? You are the wimp! Most of that anarchic selfish mob would be lying under Tank tracks if they tried it on in Wuhan.
What cause do they wish to gain support for when they desecrate a monument dedicated to men and women who fought and died to ensure we do not live under a Chinese/Nazi regime. You tell us of your pious annual pilgrimage to the cenotaph and how you attend remembrance services for the crews of particular Royal Navy ships who died. I thought you did this out of respect but it seems its just a jolly little coach trip and a booze up with the lads down South.

why do these imbeciles desecrate war memorials? Do they not realise it is the actions of those they dishonour that created a free society that enables them to behave like this. If it were not for the actions of the people they appear to hate they'd probably live in a state where such "protests" would get put down brutally.

They put their point and importantly did it peacefully without gratuitous violence and criminality. Perhaps this mob should watch Ghandi on TV this week.

Not that his peaceful protests stopped the state from arresting him and thousands of others, flogging others publicly, shooting yet more dead. Also it's worth mentioning that, while he was peaceful, he also made a point of encouraging civil disobedience: refusal to pay taxes, refusal to listen to the Raj police etc.
