I understand there was a silent protest by Doctors and nurses outside Downing Street last night. Main stream media don't seem to have picked up on this? Does anyone have a link?

Thanks bookbinder.
Glad I could help.
If it'd been a noisy protest it might have got more publicity. They should maybe think about that for next time.
Had they advertised it on social media, perhaps many of those who have clapped for the last 10 weeks might have joined them in their silent protest
It was timed to coincide with the applause elsewhere and I believe they didn't over advertise it in case lots of people would attempt to go there.

That's where they went wrong then. Whenever I organise a protest I always want lots of people to go.
That seems a very odd thing to do. I would have thought the more the better. How do you know that mamyalynne?
It's only what I have heard and may of course be wrong as third hand reports can be, it was meant to be in stark relief to the applause and dignified with of course some camera footage.
Tomus, to want a large group of people to converge in one place under present circumstances wouldn't have sensible really - would it?
I suppose they considered social distancing. Why bother in the first place.
On the ITV news tonight a few senior BAME senior members of various organisations representing the NHS ( RCN etc) are now complaining they were not 'segregated' from areas whereby they may be at risk during their nursing duties.
Where have I heard complaints about segregation before and from which particular group of people?
