There should be more cross party workings to help solve this crisis To much party political bickering People are dying . If it means suspending parliament and parties with medical and economic people sitting down with mps to sort it .When this government was elected nobody including them knew this C 19 was round the corner so thing are not normal and it calls for Britain and it’s people to come to its senses and agree what it best for Britain .When things are better call an election or what ever but don’t miss the chance to come together .People are dying if that is not a good enough reason Then I don’t know what is .

I agree, providing Cum goes first. :0)
I agree with you.
I agree, weecalf. We need all the brains available to sort this out, and not just the Boris chums. It’s all a massive mess.
Sorry to bring Cummings up again, but if he’d apologised for what he did it might make it more likely that us plebs will follow the new rules when (if?) the track and trace scheme comes in.
Yehhh Corbyn could get Hamas round to blow the virus up or fire rockets at it. Starmer could sue it for hate crimes.
If Boris thinks the public are going to forget this by dangling a few carrots out tonight, he's in for a surprise, sooner or later.
well we sort of started off like that but the left et al could not help themselves with their petty point scoring. I even called a truce myself early on but constant hate from the nasties forced me back to normal.
Very good idea but as long as there is the Brexit deadline at the end of the year it can't happen.
brexit happened on 31st jan and W\TF has it got to do with the CV19 crisis anyway?
Yes. I thought it was pathetic that the politicians couldn't quite get out of business as usual point scoring mode, even in such extraordinary times.

The fact that we have different strategies from the different countries of the UK (with the possible exception of NI) is ridiculous.

Why would Starmer QC want to work with Boris who increasingly shows himself up to be the bumbling buffoon some of us always knew he was?
TBF Steer Calmer himself has largely been sensible. It's the radio rental meeja and other assorted nasties that have stifled any detante we may have had.
I wouldn't trust Starmer an inch. Best he stays where he is. Nose at the window.
