But saw a man fishing in my local park yesterday
Also kids on swings, sunbathers, and teens on the skate park that we have.
And dog walkers, joggers and cyclists etc
*ALL* off them distancing. No-one close.
WHAT is wrong with that?
Why are people so scared and paranoid?
And now we have Boris telling us to go out anyway.

Humans need to be outdoors, need vit C etc.
What a carry on,,,

The problem is that the more people who do it, the harder it gets to socially distance. People see others flaunting the guidelines, think if it's good for them it's good for me, and before we know it the local park/beach/town centre is packed solid.
Vitamin D, Nails.
Then they will be the first to complain when it gets extended. Morons.
I think it's as Mozz says - quite a lot of people out and about, no problem. Normal hot bank holiday people out and about, very crowded (depending exactly where you go, of course).

The hot holiday weekend ended prematurely. But I went for a walk round the local park and managed to keep my distance from everyone. Some of my photos make it look crowded but it's just a trick of the zoom lens.

Cant disagree with that.
Just shoot the offenders, they'll become a national cause in 40 years and then their descendants can claim compensation...Windrush, forget it, Covid here we come.
Unlike me but I didn't go back and read the rest of your thread, nailit.

Did you?
Are swings not roped off? I wouldn't think you'd want to encourage lots of people too touch the same thing.
You can't swing without touching other peoples things...
The gates on the kids park are chained shut, NickorWan.
^^^^^^
By where I live.
That's what I would have expected, tonyav. Is the OP saying that people still used the swings even though they were shut off?
Well the kids park that is close to me has a brightly colored fence with two gates in it, maybe some kids parks aren't fenced off.
