I wish him well Tiggs, it’s an awful illness
He always has been a very positive person.
I wish him a speedy recovery.

Yes, Bobbi, me too.
I actually wouldn't mind the chancellor taking over for a week or two, he looks reasonably sharp (so far).

And Carrie, poor girl, is pregnant. What a worry. I wish them both well.
that's a point, Apc, is she living in Number 10?
Worrying for his girlfriend / partner / mistess? (who knows) as she is preggers.
TD, fiancée is the word you were looking for.
might be worrying for the entire cabinet, if they've been meeting?
jno, yep and the reporters in his press conferences etc.

I wish him a speedy recovery.
Why the exclamation marks, Tigger? I would have thought that many heads of state are at risk because of the number of meetings they attend. No surprise then if a few of them actually catch it. Boris is robust enough to see off the virus and there is no doubt plenty of room inside Number 10 for him and Carrie to avoid each other.
can you have a fiancée when you're still married?
Question Author
Does it really matter Ken?
It's still concerning. At a time of crisis the last thing we need is uncertainty at the top. Given that this disease can kill across the age groups I wouldn't be complacent either. Hopefully he will be fine though.
Jno, yes.
