Sweden maintained neutrality during WW2. //Plus if Sweden goes into lock down what will the incoming immigrants do? // The same as they've done here - take advantage of the crisis to arrive in even greater numbers.

Swedes waiting for a cure to turnip.
Perhaps they are choosing to behave sensibly unlike many people here....and therefore don't need telling.
Maybe they are right- we can only wait and see.
they seem to be where Boris was several days ago - no more than 500 people, advisory rather than mandatory. Was that mad?
Do you think they are acting out the war years and are being ‘ neutral’ ?
Yes, a bit. But hopefully countries will see and learn from each other as well.
Sweden bobbi, Sweden!
Weren’t they neutral ???
Oops, lol sorry must brush up on my history :0(
maybe they've decided to go with the herd immunity approach.
Just checked , they declared themselves as ‘ non belligerent’ during WW2
Switzerland were neutral.
Fine. One will now see what the result of trusting citizens to be responsible is: maybe.
And Sweden were non belligerent haha
‘‘Tis the silly season 3Ts :0)
They are far enough way so let them do their own thing - after all their method might even show the more hardhanded approach doesn't help, they are almost being the control group in an experiment.
Greta told them not to bother. Her latest pronouncement is that she has had the virus and so has her dad. She is therefor immune and doesn't need the lock down. Either that or the money has dropped out the bottom of the glow bull scam, and they need the publicity that the latest hysteria brings to the table to keep the wheels rolling. Plus if Sweden goes into lock down what will the incoming immigrants do?

The same as they've done here - take advantage of the crisis to arrive in even greater numbers.

A few days ago I pointed out on AB that what Sweden are doing now is the best response to this virus – listing the many benefits of doing so; but the thought police deleted it for some reason.

Perhaps AB should be writing to the Swedish Prime Minister pointing out the error of his ways.
Hard to say, Hymie. Their death rate (213 per million) is way higher than their neighbours (Denmark 70, Norway 37).

On the other hand, it's still well short of the UK's 287 - so whose government is mad?
