Emm, why wouldn't you. ?
Of course. I support anything that exposes the magic money tree.
loans at attractive interest rates, don't miss a trick do they?
Yes. But I think they'll probably end up tripling it. And the they'll ask for a penny or two on income tax. And then Boris will get in.

Don't say you weren't warned!
I'm not going to pretend I know enough about economics on this scale to give an answer.

Do you support it?

Are the terms the loans attractive to business or to government?
Yes. And yes.
I think our Prime Dad-to-be may cry soon.

"It wasn't supposed to be hard to run a country, even Call Me Dave made half a go of it" he whimpered.
I was surprised by how socialist it sounds for the government to prop up struggling businesses. But on the face of it hard to criticise. Without this, and more, the economic disaster would be huge.
yes, at times like this, government must act, no question. Use QE if necessary.
If Corvid was in No10 now his chancellor would of said,"Sorry. There's nothing left. We spent it all"
Seems like yesterday's austerity is today's prudence.
Just divert the HS2 money.
yeah, that'll last all of about 15 minutes....
I suspect it may be necessary in the short term. But one needs to keep a close eye on when it should cease to be available. There's alway a demand for financial resources and they have to be allocated both responsibly and fairly.
No it’s a waste of money and recourses, for the vast majority of the population it will be a couple of weeks feeling a bit ropey and then back to normal the only reason for all this panic is to save a few over 60s and the sickly ones who let’s face it are a drain on resources anyway
Survival of the fittest I’m off to the supermarket to buy up all the tins of baked beans I can find I may need a couple hundred rolls of toilet paper as well
Yes I do. Th alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
bertrum, panic is to save a few over 60s and the sickly ones who let’s face it are a drain on resources anyway Survival of the fittest, are you
serious, i suggest you never get sick, let alone old...
Get lost Bertrum.
I think Bertram is just trolling you.

No one in their right mind could be so callous and uncaring. Therefore I think he is having a laugh.

The Governments bailout ?

Ours you mean, where do you think the money's coming from.

Oh, of course the rich rewards coming our way now Brexit is done.
