But our dear Queen is no pushover, in fact she’s quite the tough little cookie

Don't cross nanny harry or you may get the old rolling pin over your head. My mom who is 99 yrs old said, as old as the Queen is, she as got more up top than the whole lot of the royals put together, and as her mother once said, I don't complain, and I don't explain.

the Queen must be secretly reeling from all this bad feeling.

I have the greatest respect for her. She will be a tough act to follow. I must admit I dread the day when she will leave us. I was just turned 6 when she came to the throne and remember the day really well.

I was about 7.5 and I too remember the day vividly ,it poured down all day and I had red/white/ blue crepe paper on elastic around my knee length white socks, the colour from them ran down onto my socks with the heavy rain,we took our street party to an Army TA hall , my Dad carried our radiogram there
Happy memories
Thanks bobbs, me top of the class again. :0) :0) :0)
The Borough of Wimbledon gave every school child a silver commemoration tea spoon, which I still treasure!
How many would have the guts to do what he has done?
You're referring to Liz or Meg ?
Personally I don't know either. But they seem pleasant enough.
Doesn't mean the outfit isn't outdated though.
I recall her tour of the country just after the coronation and she came to Bolton, I couldn't see much, about 5, but we took a back street to the bus stop and as we came to the end there were no crowds and her car drove by, she gave ME a wave!!!
As far as the Harry situation, I hope that his family is keeping the door open and a light on, metaphorically speaking, I think he will need it within a couple of years when that woman realises she can't get as much out of the situation as she thought and dumps him.
Question Author
We got a mug apc lol
Who was that ?
Question Author
O_G not sure who you’re asking ( sorry)
I got a mug and a crown - still got them both.
Question Author
Yes bhg, in a small Perspex case? Sadly I haven’t got mine now
The queen follows whatever protocol she is advised to follow.
Totally agree Bobbs, she is a 'tough little cookie' and she has my utmost respect. Like I've said before, I dread the day we lose her and wonder if the monarchy will survive it. We won't see her like again. I dislike intensely the way Harry has turned his back on his family and disrespected the Queen. He bleats on about 'protecting his family', but William and Kate seem to manage it well enough !
She is a very wise Grandmother, they will benefit more by going their way without even the words of the branding to fall back on and hopefully do well independently.
This mug you got, who were they ?
And how did you get them ?
