Every specs wearers' nightmare! And never place specs where they can be sat on either....

Ouch!!!
Oh no, not what you want to happen.
I was once trying on a jumper in M&S fitting rooms so needed to take my glasses off. I didn’t realize they had fallen on the floor and I stood on them. I had no one else to blame but myself!
Funnily enough my wife sat on my glasses last Sunday (my fault for leaving them where I did). I phoned Asda where I bought them from and they still stocked the frames and agreed to put my lenses in a new frame for £50. As I need my glasses I rushed straight over and the very nice lady mended them for me - good as new and no charge. I was hugely impressed as they did themselves out of a sale.
My wife went swimming with her £400 spectacles stuck down the top of her costume. Somewhere there is a four eyed fish swimming about.
