These two just invite trouble. Best policy, especially as a Royal, is to rise above such things. Taking a case against a newspaper will always end in tears - even if you win.

I am in agreement with YMB on this.
As one of the most photographed and followed couples in the world, their Highnesses should surely be advised, or even realise for themselves, since it is only common sense, that distorting images, quotes, situations, reasons, statements, etc. etc. is what the media do, and have done for decades, because it arouses interest and sells papers / increases net traffic.
In instances like this, it is better simply to ignore it, and move on, as the vast majority of the rest of the world does - and save energy, and money, and time, by picking fights that you are likely to win.
No only likely to win, but fights that really do genuinely justify the time and expense involved, to say nothing of the negative fallout and accusations of being thin-skinned and frivolous, that follow losses like this one.

I think Harry sees his future as being without the constraints of the Royals' systems, which it will be, but it will also be without their considerable experience and valuable advice.
One piece of advice they may have already given him, and being ignored is -
Wanting to protect your wife is admirable, but learn to pick your battles, and stick to the ones you can win.
Hint - that excludes any and all battles with the media.
