.... but she doesn't have a lot to say..
Have you seen her driving her Range Rover with aplomb (but looking a little cross) at 93, isn't she fantastic?

Only drives on private roads on estate never on a public road.

Zacs, It's in the news section because I had just seen her driving her Range Rover on last night's Sky News & for several days she has been on the front pages of every newspaper, & not only in the UK,
Geddit?
As I said earlier, Bobbisox. Who knows? Save for HM, of course.
No pal. No I don’t. Surely there’s a 3 hour up you tube video or a Brietbart article you could have posted asa bit of ‘factual’ back up?
I don't think she treated her sister very well.

Zacs; (who now shows his colours) //‘factual’ back up?//

For what? The OP contains the question & it has been resoundingly answered by almost all on here.
how is this news? hold the press, woman gets older and drives a car
ps by your logic it would be news that i hate flying as aeroplanes have been all over the front pages for the last few days. I just think that either some people don't realise that there actually other sections in AB or they think a particular section is "theirs" or they'll get the best audience there
Bednobs , it’s because the News section has the most ‘traffic’ and has become much more interesting then any of the other sections I think, at least people can debate in it
I think she is hanging on to ‘the job’ Because she knows when she is no longer around the monarchy will change drastically. Charles and his mistress won’t demand the respect she does .
anneasquith. //Charles and his mistress //

Camilla isn't his mistress.... she's his wife.
I often wonder what she and the Royals have done against some of the Scottish people on here?
Serious question btw, is it the C of E thing?
We have friends who have now moved back North to Wishaw, they were so anti Royal but never said why and we didn’t ask
and the Alternative to a Royal Family - a Trump-like president with a ramatazz every couple of years and many many less foreign visitors which would hit the purses of people who rely on that tourist trade
Exactly Beverley, I hope we always have our Royals but it’s shaky just now, I hope Charles and William can withstand the feeling if they come to the throne, and bearing in mind Australia’s republicans had a vote to get rid of the Royals and they lost, the Aussies too need their royals
Betty on Benefits ;-)
It’s not gunna happen Canary haha
^
Jumping the gun a bit, aren't we, BeverleySA. No-one has mentioned doing away with the Monarchy. Just because one or two of us don't believe the descriptive superlatives used by some on here are appropriate doesn't mean we are anti The Firm.
Besides which, i'll wager there are a few ABers who would quite like a President like Trump.
I like POTUS, would I want him here as President? Hell Noooo !
Bobbisox @ 12;39; "It's not gonna happen Canary haha." It already has happened - in Sue Townsend's head:-)) I refer, of course, to The Queen And I, a really funny read.
"and the Alternative to a Royal Family - a Trump-like president "

Why so? Many countries have Presidents who are heads of state without day-to-day executive powers. Is the president of Ireland a "Trump-like figure"?
