.... but she doesn't have a lot to say..
Have you seen her driving her Range Rover with aplomb (but looking a little cross) at 93, isn't she fantastic?

I can see her packing it in soon. Spend some quality time with Phil before he pops off. She's earnt it.
I agree she has done her job well, but shaking hands, cutting ribbons, planting trees, travelling first class, no ‘ everyday worries’ and the best of medical care, many women would live to a ripe old age. Her family have let her down greatly. In that sense I do feel sorry for her .
i think she had done a remarkable job, if anyone thinks she has had an easy life because of all the privileges then think again.

One day I'm gonna tell her that I love her a lot, but I gotta have a belly full of wine.
Her majesty's a pretty nice girl,
One day I'm gonna make her mine.
Oh, yeah?
You're wasting your time, Khandro!

"whoosh"
Wasting time putting Beatles song lyrics in the news section. Mmm.
Who? Me?
Erm, no. Khandro.
I know. :-)

How can you say that straight after Tilly2's 'oh, yeah'?

Clearly Tilly and I would guess others were well aware of the Abbey Road reference.
She is a wonderful Queen and puts duty first every time. I admire her so much and will be sad indeed when we lose her, as I know many will. Harry and Andrew want a good slap for putting her through all this drama at her age !!!
I bet Her Majesty does have a lot to say, behind closed doors.
I'm with Anneasquith on this. And no, Emmie, I don't have to think again. Her privileges have given her an easy, very comfortable life. She hasn't had to worry about anything save for what her family get up to. And we all have that problem. As I said earlier, she has made a good fist of being Queen but some of the superlatives aimed her way are a tad OTT, in my very humble opinion, of course. Why is she still boxing on at 93? A sense of duty, perhaps? To keep Charles off the throne? Because she is reluctant to give up the title of 'Queen' and become 'Queen Mother'? Who knows.
Very rich woman's children and grandchildren disappoint her, and the world turns.
God Save Our Queen

Privileged? Yes
Did she ask to be ? No
Does she do her job well? Absolutely!
Why is she still boxing on at 93? Because she promised that she would on her 21st birthday and she's keeping her word.
^^^^ well said bhg
Bit pedantic, perhaps, but a declaration is not a promise. And her declaration does not have to mean that she clings on to the crown and sceptre until she can cling no more. She could have abdicated at any time and still devoted much of her life to serving the nation. There has to be a more compelling reason than what she uttered on her 21st.
And what would that be Ken?
