... Boris Johnson will be?

He’s going to be the most powerful political figure in British politics for the foreseeable future.
But will he try to change the Conservative Party? (In his recent address to folk up north the word “Conservative” had been replaced by “People’s”)
Will he be “tax and spend” or “speculate and deregulate”?
Will he use his large majority and his personal influence to go for a “softer” Brexit - which would in any case facilitate a quicker trade deal with the EU?

Or what ...

i think he might surprise people and be a good one, i hope so, he had my vote.
Do we know whether a larger majority will make it easier for Parliament to approve the current deal, i.e. are the new Conservative MPs 'leave' or 'remain'?
He will do what trump tells him .
He will be a good PM.
Energetic. The only dealings with Trump will be Trade deals. Unlike the shadow government the Prime Minister knows exactly what the electorate require and if he wants, at least, another 10 years of Tory government then he will know to repay his supporters up North.
Certainly not a loose cannon like Trump or a loony Leftie with a manifesto reading like a Red kids' list for Santa.

I think he has a good grasp on reality, and will be a forceful advocate for our interests.
Venator, retrocop, here's keeping fingers and toes crossed...
Energetic, charismatic and forward thinking. And hopefully still showing a sense of humour. He will use friendship with Trump to his and our advantage, with the stress on USE!

Wish I wrote that. :-)
Retro, Thank you. I'm glad you agree. At this point I have to say I am NellieMay. I have got over being called a liar and incompetant by a moderator and the editor choosing to leave them after I reported.
And also had my fill of diddly/gulliver messing up my favourite section of AB!!
Any chance we can keep to the original subject rather than make this yet another 'poor me' thread?
"Do we know whether a larger majority will make it easier for Parliament to approve the current deal, i.e. are the new Conservative MPs 'leave' or 'remain'? " - they are either leavers or remoaners who have accepted democracy ZM.
And also had my fill of diddly/gulliver messing up my favourite section of AB!! diddly's not said a word since last wednesday though she does dip in now and again.
ZM. Do shut up. It was said to Retro in order to not make an announcement, not as a poor me. I didnt want to use a new name, but it was the only way to come back.
But surely, when Parliament next comes to debate / vote on 'the deal' (whatever that is) this will influence them. Or has the GE process waved a magic wand over the HoQ and made everyone altruistic?
Thank you Apc2604
ZM: 14:31. The remoaners that remain have shown that they do not want to rebel, they accept the result. With an 80 majority they will not have enough numbers to Affect the effect anyway so will keep schtum.
He will be all things to all people and end up being canonised.
'The remoaners that remain have shown that they do not want to rebel, they accept the result'

what, all of them? Do you have a link?
