No one died this time but at least 5 have died world wide due to motorists thinking the car can drive itself.

Maybe Americans don't understand the meaning of assistance. I doubt they're being misled, may be demonstrating being incapable of understanding English. And perhaps not listening to instructions nor reading the manual.
Calling the function 'Autopilot' isn't such a great idea but Elon has had a few of those.
I mean, 5 worldwide is less than I thought it would be.

Considering there are probably more than 5 deaths per day world wide from regular automobiles the statistics aren't concerning.
