What’s chicken pox?
Chicken pox is, or was, a common childhood ailment.
Yes, quite rare here - there were 3 cases in 2018, one of those was a healthcare worker.
Am scratching like a monkey with an all over rash that I thought was

I must have had it to have had shingles, but Monkeypox?

You can catch it from dirty Capuchino cups.
I think monkeypox makes you jump up and down scratching your armpits while eating a banana or something
I dont think we need to worry about monkey pox. It's extremely rare outside of parts of Africa , I think this is only the second case seen in the UK. The person had visited Nigeria. Monkey pox is usually similar to chicken pox in that it is not a serious condition except in a few cases. No records of infected people searching each other for fleas.
