Farage braces himself for 'impossible' Andrew Neil interview
"tomorrow Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage will face an interview with the BBC's Andrew Neil.

Mr Farage has been speaking about the prospect at a party rally in Nottinghamshire, and adds that it will be "really disappointing" if Boris Johnson continues to avoid an appearance on the show.

BBC North of England correspondent Dan Johnson reports that the Brexit Party leader is expecting a tough time".

they should all have a turn, that is if AN lets them speak.

Boris should face Neil at some point don't you think...
He most definitely should but I bet he won't. By the way, according to my TV guide, an Andrew Neil interview was listed for yesterday on BBC1 at 7p.m and Monday but there were substitute progs. Why???
I think Farage will cope with AN better than any of the other party leaders.
Question Author
no idea, what's that got to do with the post...
Question Author
davebro perhaps but AN is a bit of a rottweiler and doesn't often give them time to answer

//I think Farage will cope with AN better than any of the other party leaders. //

I would agree 100%. Whatever people say about Mr Farage he has the facts and figures at his fingertips. He gives straight answers to the question. He does not get flustered in interviews. We shall see.
Question Author
do you think Boris will have an interview with AN?
I have no idea. He is rather a busy man at the moment. After all ,unlike Corbyn and the rest ,our P.M. has still got to run the country, answer questions from bereaved parents and attend NATO conferences. etc
Question Author
but it doesn't look good for the PM and perhaps continuing PM to be dodging this interview

anyway perhaps Nigel Farage can pull the rabbit out of the hat and give a good account of his party, stance on Brexit.
diddly, the interviews are on BBC2
Emmie - my earlier comment is totally relevant to the question. When the AN show didn't happen, was it because those were slots in which the BBC hoped Boris to appear?
diddly, they were on BBC2, See my post ^^^
Question Author
No idea to be honest
Question Author
i will watch the one with NF and see what AN makes of it all.......
AN doesn't do interviews, he just fires questions and doesn't give the subject a chance to answer. He could do that with cardboard cut out. He actually made me come to Corbyn's defence when the other day!
emmie, you've virtually stated that no one comes out of an AN interview looking good. Why would Johnson submit himself to that?
Me as well, Tora.

He was, as I said on another thread, overly aggressive.
Question Author
will see...
OK so my TV guide is wrong!
