I think she would be able to say that she was feeling a bit stressed with baby, travel, looking good etc., etc.. She's still a newish mum and her hormones will probably still be all over the place, people would understand that. Not sure about the press attention upsetting her so much, though - as an actress she actively sought publicity and seemed to be able to handle it.
Meghan Markle has lived most of her life in the spotlight. Her father was a lighting director and through his work, she met plenty of celebs. Then she went on to become an actress appearing on television and bit-part films. I would describe her as a very confident woman of the world but she knew very little of the Royal Family and rules and protocol when she married Harry and as a strong-minded woman she decided she didn't want to do what other royals do. This is when the criticism started. When Archie was born there was so much secrecy. The world wanted to see this newborn Prince but we had to wait for the staging of his first appearance when we go to see his forehead. Since then, there have been lots of times when she has been criticised, but with their tour of South Africa there seemed to be less criticism and all was well until Meghan and Harry then decided to sue the press, and this has wiped out their successful tour. I honestly can't see a time when this couple will be loved by the majority of the public and the press. I do feel sorry for her that she has had all the criticism but she has brought it all on herself.

Anna, why on Earth would she tell her father how she is coping? He'd only sell the information to the highest bidder.
Many young mother feels slightly numb all vulnerable during that transition between pregnancy and parent. It was kinda sweet that the simple act of someone asking her how she was coping drew that reaction from her. I can see why the Sussexes may not have wanted to make that Balmoral visit.

from the first paragraph (I did read the whole post) I think she's seeking advice from the wrong type of pr company.
It's all very well to go against tradition and regulations to some extent and say 'to heck' with the old fogeys and their traditions, but she doesn't seem to be going about it in a smart way.

Because if she is having difficulties adapting to parenthood, a huge family get together would be an added pressure she could do without. Some time with just her, Harry and the baby would befar better for her,
