The Labour Party are being blamed as well as the Far Right, but the media seem to shy away from including Islam, and since anti-Semitism is rife all over Europe, surely it can't be down entirely to the Far Right.

Is the far right isolated to one part of the country then?
AOG. Can you give any proof of Islam being involved in any antisemitic incidents?
AOG - I believe you are looking for a position that does not exist.

If the media believed that Islam in the UK created a significant impact on the rise of anti-Semitism, it would be its duty to report it, and given the approach of the tabloid readership to Islam, I don't imagine they would waste such an opportunity.

Given that they don't, I would have to conclude that the willingness to offer blame to Islam for just about any and every negative aspect of modern society, lies rather more in your individual perspective, than the reality of the world as it is.
We live near a very large orthodox Jewish community and have yet to see proof of any anti semitism here, they keep themselves to themselves and don't bother anyone and no one bothers them
Does the far-right not exist in the rest of Europe?
It's just been promoted in the news cycle, everybody gets a turn.

Except the ordinary, invisible citizen, their stories don't sell papers or adverts.

/// In France, by contrast, more than half of anti-Semitism incidents, and virtually all the violent ones, are perpetrated by immigrants from Muslim countries or their descendants, according to the National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism. ///

/// In Britain, the Community Security Trust suggests that far-right perpetrators are responsible for 50-60 percent of the incidents where victims offered a physical description of their attackers. This happened in about 30 percent of 1,652 cases in 2018, a 19 percent hike from the previous year. ///

/// In the Netherlands, the previous director of CIDI, the country’s foremost watchdog on anti-Semitism, said that Muslims and Arabs are responsible for about 70 percent of all cases recorded in any given year. ///

/// In a 2016 survey of hundreds of German Jews who had experienced anti-Semitic incidents, 41 percent said the perpetrator was “someone with a Muslim extremist view” and another 16 percent said it was someone from the far left. Only 20 percent identified their aggressors as belonging to the far-right. ///

Make of that of what you will, but it would seem that British Muslims are different from the ones in the rest of Europe. Perhaps they are classes as Far-Right perpetrators in Britain? Thus preventing actually saying the word Muslim.

I understand that such a notion sits ill with your perception of Islam - but maybe that is actually the reality?

It's food for thought isn't it.
No, it isn't. It's farcical.
TBF TROP are not the main reason for the rise in anti semitism, it's mainly the hard left nazis beloved of Labour that are seeding this rise.
AOG< the OP relates to incidents in Britain, not Europe or anywhere else.

So, those immigrants from Islamic countries who choose to reside in France, Germany or the Netherlands are different from the ones who travel through those countries to reach the UK?

I do love breaking your so called 'SO RULE'.

I'd say the 'rise' is due to Labours Momentum brown shirts.
The percentage of Muslims in London is about fives times the percentage of Muslims in Hertfordshire.

If Muslims ARE classed as far-right, why has the number of incidents in the likes of Hertfordshire increased whilst those in London decreased?
AOG, if you stop trying to 'weld' Islam / Muslims onto every news article, you might stop confusing us, and yourself. It's becoming farcical.

there is ZERO mention of either in your Guardian link. You seem to have reasoned that Islam / Muslims are partly responsible for Antisemitism (or that The Labour Party are anti-Muslim but no one dare mention it, I'm not sure which).
Where is your evidence for this?

There is plenty of evidence as regards the Labour Party's involvement in Anti-Semitism, and it has been widely reported on. Also Muslim Anti-Semitism throughout Europe, but strangely enough not any reported in the UK, much easier to blame it on Labour and the Far-Right for some strange reason.

Did you read this link?

https://www.timesofisrael.com/germany-is-accused-of-downplaying-anti-semitic-attacks-by-muslims/
Oh, I see, you're defending the Far Right by saying that Muslims are to blame for Antisemitism in the UK.

Again....where is your evidence?
Why have incidents in Hertfordshire increased if the Muslim percentage is far lower than in London where incidents have DECREASED?
If we don’t know who’s responsible no group can be discounted. It is, however, ridiculous to suggest that Muslims in this country differ from Muslims elsewhere. They don’t.
