the story's been around for years (in newspapers too, it hasn't been covered up). It's strange that nobody's mentioned it recently. I find it dreadful, but others presumably think "Hey, you sell a journalist out to a hitman, what's the big deal?"

An irrelevance. 29 years ago he's allegedly given someone who was a friend at the time someone's address. Incident is clearly done & dusted and no doubt all know better now. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. They'd be better off complaining about Boris's tackling ability at football.

The Times - a right leaning newspaper...recently had a cartoon featuring a typical series of Boris faces. The caption consisted of him saying, "Prorogue? Some of my best friends are rogues!"
I can't recall all the names on the list which followed, but "Guppy" was certainly one of them.

The thing is, of course, that Tories know Johnson's gaffes and "tendencies"...even possibly criminal ones...and just don't care!
