I get patients from all over the world come to my emergency desk on a morning, had one from Brazil this morning, he had to fill an overseas form out and it goes to the overseas team and he may be charged for his treatment.

EVERYONE that come to my desk gets asked the same question, have you been living in the uk for the last 12 months, if the answer is no, they fill a form out.

This includes expats who have been not been in the uk for the last year.
