How many couples have not had a domestic quarrel at sometime, and for a neighbour to record the upset, report it to the police and then to the Guardian, obliviously a Boris hating leftie.

I apologise for the duplication of this very valuable news item.
he had a domestic, big deal.
It was headline news on BBC lunchtime news! As well as calling the police, neighbours sent the recording of the row to The Guardian. Nice neighbours!
Sorry, should hsve read your link AOG!
I wonder which Labour Party the neighbour belongs to.
I bet she wont complain if they move into number 10
Funny it was only one neighbour who heard it - it seems a non story to me, just a leftie stirring it yet again.

I wonder if it is illegal to record one's neighbour's 'going ons'?
I don't think so. In fact it's recommended to record the neighbours if they're making enough noise to disturb you.
if anyone asked on AB "My neighbours are having a blazing row, I think the woman may be at risk, should I do anything?" the answers might well include calling the police and recording what you hear.

Of course if they added that the man was a Tory politician, everyone would agree that it shouldn't even be mentioned. I note that the police very kindly tried to cover the whole thing up, doubtless knowing what the government will do to police forces if crossed.
Is it ok the to send your recording to the Guardian jno?

Now it's beginning to make sense this is the neighbour who reported Boris.

He is described as a 32-year-old nursery worker called Fatimah.

A nursery worker living next door to Boris?

Must be some money to be earned in that job.

Had it been Corbyn's house the cops had been called to, i have no doubt there would be many on here asking his supporters if he was the kind of man they want for the next PM. And you would most likely have been the first to do so, AOG. It IS a non story unless, of course, Bojo was bouncing his partner off all 4 walls.
I thought Fatimah was a female name.
Is Fatimah not a girl's name, then?
