I can only answer on my two experiences, Sqad......it's as Pixie says.

As for overnight? I know that can happen. You can feel so good one day...do perhaps a little too much.....disturb a stitch....heavy bleeding can return the next day....an extra supply of breast milk can be messy and painful.
Any sensible new mother takes it day by day and does what she feels able to cope with.....for whatever reason.
pixie........O.K

"She looks great. "

I disagree.........I thought she looked bloated.
gness.......OK.
Why, spice? What is "small brained" about avoiding someone that you don't want to be in the company of? And for a completely understandable reason.
She did look a little bloated, Sqad. Sometimes you can feel so fine but then the effort of getting ready....especially for a public event.....can knock the stuffing out of you...x
Sqad. Bloated! You don’t know anything about breast feeding do you ? Stick to ears
I'm on a phone, not sure which photos sqad was referring to?
If she hadn't slagged him off to signal her virtue, she wouldn't have to avoid him now. (and forever more)
Like I say, thick.
Ok, have seen some more. Her face does look a little bloated, although her fingers look ok. It was more the smile I noticed :-)
annie.....I don't perhaps know much about breast feeding but I have had 4 children, although i agree that i didn't breast feed them myself.I have a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, have advised mothers on breast feeding.....but you are correct, i will stick to ears.

Bloating...swelling or fullness of the face.
Tbh, I can never work out what virtue-signalling is supposed to mean, other than "someone I disagree with". She thinks he is a ***, because he is and tactfully and legitimately avoided him. Assuming that was the reason. Honest while being diplomatic.
You stick to breasts if you want to, sqad.
Really, sqad? I have loads of respect for you and your experience, but two things I would never ask you for advice on, would be pregnancy/childbirth or mental health issues (no offence meant) x
pixie......let's hope that you never have to ask me on those topics ;-).
No offence taken.
Or parenting !
Or chivalry. lol.
Oof. Nice one, sqad.
Awww... :-/ x
I would say that being bloated/sore/leaky/tired/unable to find comfortable footwear/clothes, suffering from uncooperative hair/skin and being prone to burst into tears at happy things/sad things or any or all of the foregoing is sufficient reason to time your public appearances carefully....
