Anyone know the real reason why there is an organised mass protest against the President of the United States visit to the UK, and what organisations are behind these protests?

I've been trying to work out where this was cut into grass. It only mentions "on the stanstead flight path".They may have had land owner permission. (probably not though, i will grant)
Spath, do stop flogging a dead horse.Do you honestly think that the owner would have agreed to that?
according to the Bishops Stortford local paper, the message was mown into the grass of a private property at Hatfield Heath by the owner's 18 year old son, who runs a website which pairs customers with eco-friendly suppliers. the message would only have been visible to those on Air Force One if the plane had been landing from the south and only if they craned their necks extremely right, as Hatfield Heath is well east of the flight path.
Thanks for that Mushroom.
"Do you honestly think that the owner would have agreed to that?"

Well...yes and no. If i was the owner (an unlikely personality to own land) i'd say yes, "do as you wish, i shan't sue for damage as long as you don't drag me into it."However.. I imagine many would simply say "No". So who knows.

It's just a bit of cut grass after all, this could all be cleared away with another run of the mower, which was less precisely lined.
Looks like no offence of criminal damage then. Shame. My wish won't be granted. :-(
Perhaps the idiots flying 'the blimp' could be pursued under this. :-)

/// Because of his demeaning behaviour towards women, a good 50% of the population. ///

Perhaps they should be protesting against the Muslim male population then?
How do you know they don't?
AOG, my response to your comment is - Yawn.

It's not really on to suggest the male Muslim population all have a demeaning behaviour towards women. This is your perception, it is not a reality. If it is, it's not proven.
//This is your perception, it is not a reality. If it is, it's not proven. //

that doesn't make sense. if something is a reality then QED it must have been proven.
Not true. Reality doesn't have to be proven to be reality.
As I write this, there have been 112 responses on this topic and only myself, and to an extent retrocop, have attempted to answer the original question.
Just saying :-)
Well...

"Anyone know the real reason why there is an organised mass protest against the President of the United States visit to the UK"

Because people don't like him.. I'd go far enough to say some even hate him. (i don't know how they have the time or available emotion)

"and what organisations are behind these protests?"

None in particular i'd assume. However, there may be one or two organisations responsible for spreading the message over protests. I'd assume similar ones to the blimp business.
Well you can generally anticipate the SWP will participate in the hope of disorder. We will be able to pick out the protesters organisations by their placards, when the Presidential motorcade takes to the public roads. So far he has flown to the back door of BP in 'Marine One'

This from a Guardian (yes not a Daily Mail) article.

/// The assumption is that Muslim women need to be extricated from the religion entirely before anything close to liberation or equality can be achieved. ///

AOG, that in no way suggests the male Muslim population all have a demeaning behaviour towards women.
"This from a Guardian (yes not a Daily Mail) article. "

However, could the real AOG please stand up?

i am not going to join you in your slanging matches, you are the same as the likes of Zacs-Master who is in the habit of getting my threads closed, incidentally without himself being personally taken to task and warned to cease his games.
I would never intentionally throw abusive language towards you AOG. I disagree with you on almost every political issue, but that doesn't mean i don't respect you, Sir.
