If I recall, Stephen’s girlfriend (childhood “sweethearts“ I think) testified, and had to go into witness protection.
So, not only did she lose her boyfriend, I guess she lost everyone else too.

I’m in complete agreement with Mr. Cameron’s comment “ The only way Noye should be allowed out is in a wooden box.”
Unfortunately, the do-gooding, criminal huggers will probably secure his freedom.
He has served 23 years and its about time he was released. He stabbed a man once who was beating the crap out of him - I kknow this as a fact because I was there at one of his hearings.
NOTHING to do with the TROB ! The decision is down to The Parole Board ONLY !!!! They are NOT fools !!
Also remember that it is ONLY ON LICENCE !!! He can be recalled to jail at any time without a reason being given ! One condition HAS to be that he stays away from his old haunts, areas , friends, mates and anyone with a criminal record ! He must also report to Police at least once a week and constantly wear a 'tag'. (tracking device !) So it is NOT freedom as we know it!

Never seen such rubbish writ ten in a long time.

This savage should have swung years ago.

eddie: "NOTHING to do with the TROB ! The decision is down to The Parole Board ONLY !!!! They are NOT fools !! " - I beg to differ:
this is just one recent example: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-46437471

remember he also got off with stabbing a police officer in "self defence" - definitely a wrong un. Perhaps eddie can put him up eh!
I don't think he should be released.

//He stabbed a man once who was beating the crap out of him - I kknow this as a fact because I was there at one of his hearings. //

Unless you were there at the scene of the crime you don't know anything for a fact. What was he doing carrying a knife anyway?

Did he not also stab a police officer to death with a pitchfork or am I maligning this poor innocent man?
// He stabbed a man once who was beating the crap out of him //
and the one who was beating the crap out of him stopped because he was dead wasnt he? so wasnt in court to say 'it wasnt like that.'

and the 'once' is an event isnt it - not just one stab
the witness who was there at the event (the er once-off but hey hadnt he done it before?) said Noy wiped the knife with a smile on his face as if to say - job done?

there was a minor branch of the family ( Noy-Phillips ) was at Worsley Green - the worse for us hur hur hur
and they were minorly violent - didnt kill anyone

but they have sold up and gone now

was it really 25 y ago ? - how time flies when you er arent in the slammer !

// Did he not also stab a police officer to death with a pitchfork or am I maligning this poor innocent man?//

no you are correcticus RC - his plea of self defence was successful. After the second case, the first defending counsel appeared on teevee
( what was that - even 1990s wasnt there this stuff called confidentiality ?)
and he said
pleading self defence is OK once - but then he tried to do it again,

Clearly the counsel for the first case was NOT the counsel for the second case.

also part of the self defence case Noy ran
was - - - running away!
he high tailed darn to Plymouf and hired a plane to Thpain or France on the QT cash only basis. I am not sure if they screwed the pilot for that one ...

big thing at the time about a policeman
spotting him in a restaurant in Thpain
and getting a glass he drank from
for fingerprints and sent it back to London

oh in case you are wondering where the moolah came from, it was the Brinksmat robbery ( £19m)
Question Author
he stabbed a police officer, John Fordham, 10 times in "self defence" - hard to see how stabbing someone 10 times is self defence but hey ho.
So CAC you think that just because this thug has served 23 years he should now be free ?? Personally, I think he should serve at least another 23 !!
He was regularly blocked by the Police from consideration for release not because of the M25 killing but the death of the plain clothes policeman who was in his grounds. He, as said above, was successful on appeal on that case so you dont get to suggest that is relevant to the second case.
