What's your question please AOG? I think you are submitting many of your posts too early
I'd leave the Holman Hunt covered up for good or better still burn it.
It can only be a copy anyway.
I say good on the woman. Even with Christian images being covered, those in attendance will be aware of their proximity yet i'll wager there'll be many more in attendance than if it were a Christian celebration. And if it serves to bring just a shred of harmony between communities, is that not a good thing?
OMG!!

Someone trying to bring harmony to your troubled neck of the woods?

Not only did I click on the link supplied (wish I didn't) I was also amused by the fact the "news hound" seems incapable of proof reading his own upload ;-(

Also the "links" to other news stories, well, newsworthy or not?
well does it work?
or did it work?

what I thhought it was gonna be
Church of England Vicar criticised for believing in God !
I don't see an issue with it, am I missing something?

Obviously no sign of harmony between Muslim Men and Muslim women.

I await the comments from our lady ABers, regarding the segregation of women, in a Christian church.
oh images covered ...

you know that a lot of the prophets turn up as prophets in the Koran innit ? moses and abraham certainly there - not in full OT gloire of course

Jesus as Issa ( prophet only ) Job as Ayub n his free daughters ( not named but they were Jemima Hoo-jar and Karen-nephtha, and the most beautiful was Jemima - Kezia - Kezia was the second ) - they sat there speechless when I said that ( in Arabic)

and if it is jaw jaw tjhat is better than war war
( churchill )
(I note 16 injured by a bomb in Cairo yesterday )
The women were given a room of their own, the men had to us an aisle.

Reckon the ladies might have won this one AOG.
Cover up crosses and works of art to avoid offending Muslims but isn't that rather offensive to Christians? Well, it's only Christians so what does it matter? When people like this woman find themselves trapped like rabbits in headlights they'll wake up.

Incidentally, that’s a beautiful painting.
// Obviously no sign of harmony between Muslim Men and Muslim women. //

erm havent you noticed the little muslim babies
which seems to me to be signs of er harmony

silly old me - I must have got it all wrong again
// Cover up crosses//
jesus the usual confusion between crosses and crucifixes
helllloooooo .....

and yes for those 'christians' who have been to church between good friday and easter service ( that would be mainly on holy saturday readers ) will have noticed the images doused in purple silk ( being the colour of lent )

AB in full swing I see
widda deep thinkers thinking deeply ....

Although this site is call the AnswerBank, the majority of news items posted in the news section don't ask a particular question, so why should I have to be any different?

If you don't like what I put up for discussion, please feel free not to respond.
I said "communities", AOG, not couples. Muslim men and women pray in separate locations. But then you know that.
// but isn't that rather offensive to Christians? Well, it's only Christians //

Not sure how many Christians would have been in attendance at the time.

So how many may have been offended?
//Muslim men and women pray in separate locations. But then you know that. //

Should the church accommodate segregation? That's condoning it surely?
"house of god"

LOL which one is home though?
