LOL....yes it is amazing how in the UK, criminals are wrapped in cotton wool and are treated with respect.......they are criminals and respect needs to be redefined.

70 bullets is a bit excessive, but the policeman has been sacked.
We live in a violent world TTT and one must make sure that your assailant is "neutralised"..........in whatever manner.

yes a bit excessive sqad, perhaps an approach somewhere between the two would work better for us.

I love the story about the Highway Patrol Sergeant who, when asked by the coroner ,why perpetrator had 40 bullet wounds on his body replied.
"I didn't have any more"
The most alarming thing about this story, imho, is that the officers needed to fire 70 rounds of ammo before the perp was 'neutralised'. 70!! The phrase, "Couldn't hit a barn door if they were sat on the latch" springs readily to mind.
retro- also celebrated in the Gibraltar shootings ( ?1979 )

answer - no one - we all thought they had guns !

IRA lawyer - No ! they did ! they were unarmed. Why were they going for guns they knew they didnt have?

The prime ministers son came in and lied under oath about his eye witness account.

Was that the inquest where the coroner Potosi or someone had a new year break and wished everyone in the court a Very successful and Lucrative New Year. gasps of new yearness from the audience
