At least they are now investigating all these gangs. Hopefully they will get the message they can no longer operate with impunity as in the PC past.

Isolated?
Question Author
"In Rotherham" would imply, this article and these 40 arrests are isolated to Rotherham.
What about all the other places this is happening and has happened? There's nothing 'isolated' about it.
Question Author
Have you anything to say on rotherham?

I'd discuss the "other places" when a news outlet decides to report on it.

However, this is about Rotherham, and these arrests do seem to be isolated.
jesus look at this spaff -
80 y o kicked to death for looking at zee leedol childer playing

https://fr.sputniknews.com/france/201905081041028740-une-personne-agee-tuee-par-un-groupe-de-jeunes-car-elle-regardait-des-enfants-jouer/

would our dear very own AOG say - yes good !
or would be say: o dear I better go out in a hoodie and look at the ground ....

anything to say about Rotherham?
well more of the same
( so as Ni might say - not isolated)

what shocks me as that SIkhs are involved whose religion specifically charges the men to protect children in danger
spath, yes I do have something to say about Rotherham. I'm not surprised.

...And if you're waiting to read reports on the same thing happening in other places, you've not been reading the news.
Question Author
PP that is *** up. If you THINK someone has pedophile tendencies then ring the police, do not batter then to death.
Question Author
"...And if you're waiting to read reports on the same thing happening in other places, you've not been reading the news."

Stop begin difficult, We can discuss the article provided or you can start a thread on whatever you like.
I'm not being difficult. This is not, as you claim, an isolated incident.
boy and girl
can we have less biting and scratching
and more reasoned argument with perhaps even foreign references ?
Strange use of the word "isolated".....perhaps "localised" instead?
Question Author
The investigation is isolated to Rotherham.
Question Author
If the article said...

Detectives investigating historic allegations of child sexual abuse and exploitation in Rotherham have arrested 40 people over the last two months in Birmingham

Then you may have a point. However the investigation an arrests have been isolated to Rotherham.
At least they are now investigating all these gangs. Hopefully they will get the message they can no longer operate with impunity as in the PC past.
Spath//arrests have been isolated to Rotherham.//
From the article:-
Suspects aged between 29 and 53 from Sheffield, Rotherham, Leeds, Dewsbury and Maidstone in Kent have been arrested or interviewed by appointment
They’d be a bit daft investigation crimes in Rotherham in Shrewsbury wouldn’t they.
...have it you way, but "isolated epidemic" makes little sense to me....
Question Author
Forget it, i'm going to stop posting question/discussions and stick to answers. I can't be bothered with people being so hung up on a word that isn't even critical to the discussion.

Enjoy.
