Now there's a surprise,, but is it wise for this person to be saying such things given current circumstances.

Arn't the RF supposed to be neutral?

Or is this part of the Grand plan to be the Royal Family of GB and Germany?

Hopefully yet another nail in the coffin of these leeches.

//I can't see anything wrong with hoping we retain strong links with other countries. We all want that don't we?// Yes we do. But it depends on the conditions required for maintaining such links. You don't do so at any price.

You are about 80 years out of date with your fake news! As that name no longer exists in the UK Royal Family!
i'm not sure it's fake news, RR? There are quotes n all.
What's wrong with hoping that the relationship between the UK and Germany (or indeed of any other European nation) prospers no matter what our future relationship with the EU? I had thought, anyway, that even the most ardent Brexit supporters objected to Brussels rather than Berlin.
I can't see anything wrong with hoping we retain strong links with other countries. We all want that don't we?
The last thing we need is to be isolated from European countries.
We're all agreed then, remain it is. :-)
Steady on there douglas .....

Yes we do. But it depends on the conditions required for maintaining such links. You don't do so at any price.
Douglas I was certainly not advocating that we should remain.I was referring to individual European countries.
Nor me, danny. Leaving the EU doesn't mean becoming enemies with the remaining members.

You are 20 odd years out, they changed their name in 1917 and I wonder if they did it via deed poll?
Entente Cordiale and all that. Why Not? I'm OK with that.
Well its fake news as the name mentioned no longer exists - had the OP stated the correct name then it would not be fake news
AOG - please see what I wrote - I said 'about'
They still have German relatives so the bond is there already.
Not very nice to refer to them as 'leeches'

Why, if, like I do, you consider they are surplus to requirements and ad nothing to our society then it is a very apt description.

Prince Charles goose stepped around a hsutings whilst giving a Hitler salute, and shouting Heil Hitler mein further! The Germans in the crowd shouting Jawohl! and returning salutes. The German tourists knew that these things were verboten in the Fatherland but are allowed as part of free speech in the United Kingdom. some in the crowd shouted
"Warum gasen wir die Muslime nicht?"
an old age pensioner warbled - "I am sure I am going to be killed in my bed again tonight by brown skinned men!"

Prince Charles ended by observing 'I am sure my little anglo american afro caribbean grandchild can be a keine prinz of the Fourth Reich

His majesty was carried off shoulder highto the nearest bier keller

theres a quote for you Spaff - it must be true !
