Don't Panic or rush around trying to fix your own settings.

It's a global problem - Mozilla (authors of Firefox) have screwed up and are working on a fix ...

Meanwhile I'm off to Chrome and/or Safari - which are working as normal.
Is it fixed now? I opened F'fox about 10 mins ago & it's fine, my add-ons are all working as far as I can tell.

Just tried mine LiK - seems that the geeks may have fixed it at last - been broken here all morning - not sure that every extension is quite right yet - but the crucial ones are OK at the moment ..
Add-Blocker isn't working.
Good to hear, Dave :-)
Give it time aog, I'm sure they're working as fast as they can.

I'm on a Macbook with the very latest version of Firefox, so can't provide conclusive evidence that Windows Firefox is OK for all versions of Windows and FF
Adblocker is working just fine here as is Firefox.

I don't know if that helps at all but there you go.
Bloody hell, I have been pi......... around for ages looking where Ad Blocker had gone. Still not working. Do I need to do anything ?
easy fix sync your firefox first, then download firefox x32 or x64 version, uninstall firefox, reboot, install firefox sign back in to sync within firefox, it putss all your saved favorites back etc, then go to downloads and reinstall ublock or whatever blocker you use..done
worked for me.
mine is back to normal now, full ad blocking as before. Makes the site usable.

/// easy fix sync your firefox first, ///

Could you explain how I do that please?
Following someones's ( sorry, can't remember who's) advice, I have just downloaded Adguard and it is working a treat. I just wish I knew how to stop those annoying videos popping up in the Dailymail.
Not experienced any issues with FF or addons - is it specific add ons
I've tried everything and Add Blocker still doesn't work for me.
anotheoldgit, as i said, download firefox https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/new/ to your download draw, then uninstall firefox, reboot
install firefox then go to tools addons search ublock origin, click install, ublock is my preferred blocker, you want to sync firefox by clicking on the three lines on the top right bar, sign up email etc, all your saved urls can be restored after you uninstall firefox by signing back in.
