Yes, just to shut the silly woman up for good.

indeed, and also to get her to concentrate on other matters, she's rather selling the Scotts short at the moment.
Now now, no 'hightist' comments.
Too soon.
Only if you want another Brexit vote as well.
"I think they should let wee Jimmy get it out of her system once and for all."

But it won't, 3Ts. She is fanatical about Scottish independence and will not let the matter lie. If a second referendum is held and the vote is to remain (as I believe it will be) that will not be the end of the matter. Whether or not the UK has left the EU by then or on what terms will make no difference. The SNP fanatically pursued an independence referendum long before the EU vote was called and is using so-called Brexit as an excuse for another go.

For my two pennyworth I hope they do have another referendum and I hope it succeeds in returning a vote to leave. I also hope the "UK3" will charge them 39 billion smackeroonies for the privilege of allowing them to depart without too much trouble. We should also insist that they remain in the UK's Customs Union unless and until we grant them permission to leave. After all, we can't have huge amounts of Scottish contraband - (Haggis (January 25th only), Single Malt, Burton's Jammie Dodgers, Dundee Cake and Deuchars IPA) heading down the M6 every night threatening the integrity of the UK's Single Market, can we?
Yes they should be allowed another vote
Just a small aside the Scots Whiskey market contributed 5 billion to the UK coffers each yt
//Just a small aside the Scots Whiskey market contributed 5 billion to the UK coffers each yt //

just a small aside, Rockrose, "whiskey" hails from your side of the Irish Sea (scotch whisky has no e, you see....)
Auto correct
Of course not.
When the disastrously managed water system of England runs dry supplies must continue unhindered so wasteful practices can continue while profits abound.

Whiskey has a place but it's no' whisky. Some folk should really know better.
Of course not. 1,617,989 people should be permanently silenced, that would be undemocratic as the established principle goes. All who might want to join them must be prevented in so doing - in the interest of democracy. Repeating a referendum is heresy, elections can be held as often as we like (but not as they like).
* For "....that would be undemocratic...." read "....anything else would be undemocratic...."

Especially someone who say's they are Scottish

Wouldn't it make more sense to wait until Brexit is sorted? It's up to them though...
Especially someone who what...?
absolutely not... she is embarrassing her ain folk in Holyrood now ...the strength of feeling against her is growing daily and she is becoming a figure of ridicule here especially in the media...time to go Nichola !!
Geezy wheeps, you really do hate Scotland, MM, don't you!

When independence comes, as I'm sure it will, will you move to England so that you can continue to be subjugated by your beloved Westminster?
Question Author
the sad thing is that wee shoggy and co don't want "independence" they just want to be subjugated by the EUSSR. Essentially they hate the English.
What utter garbage!
Question Author
do you not want to be in the EUSSR jim? isn't that what wee jimmy is banging on about? She thinks she can leave the UK and be welcomed into the EUSSR with open arms. She may be right but there will be a heavy price. Your Barnett formula is out the window mate, once juncket and Barmpot have had their way you'll be begging to come back to the awld enemy.
