''I witnessed young Buddhist children who'd watched their parents drown in the tsunami being asked: 'Are you hungry? Do you have somewhere safe to sleep? Will you love Jesus Christ?' Now you tell me that I, as a journalist, should be blind to Christian cult leaders in Sri Lanka?''

If I was a starving child I would pledge my allegiance to anyone, this does not mean any went on to be devout Christians. Andy West is a disgrace to his profession and humanity and a total ****** (my asterisks) Hundreds of innocent men women and children were killed in this attack and he says 'spare your prays' If I did pray I'd pray he rots in hell to be honest.

does it hang together ?

does the first bit ( hungry?) relate to the second?
what does 'blind to christian leaders ' mean?
blind to their deaths, to what they say, or blind to what they do? or all three ?

or does it refer to - "god has killed yur parents and is feeding you - good huh?"
So often people mix things up that shouldn't be alongside - he has issue with what he says he heard and saw, that's fine.

However he has no place to tell others where to direct their prayers or sympathies.
I have to say I thought the second bit was

a few christians have been blown to smithereens, OK 300, so what?

Luxor 1997, the locals cried as the tourists fled, (*)
as they knew they would starve. They did
dropped about a billion tourist dollars which I thought was low

(*) and not - "on your way nasreen !"

'I love the Buddha' said the starving Buddhist child as it flew down the missionary steps.
I believe there were similar reports at the time. How stupid are those Christian missionaries repeatedly talking like that in front of left wing journalists.
I have heard of 'rice-Christians' from the 19th? century.
Ah, I was dealing with Andy West's bare faced cheek, telling folk what to do ( or more pertinently not do).

Missionaries through the ages don't always have a good reputation.

Yes but we all know that EDDIE51, leans very much to the left, and tends to be very bias.

Therefore he agrees more with what the Guardian, Independent or Mirror spews out.

The mirror? yes I do.
Christian missionaries should visit North Sentinel Island as their first port of call.
We know he has a "different" View on what is normal. Has he ever posted an opinion on the preachings and recommendations of the practitioners of the ROP?
Ask him.
