I don't think I agree with at least 95% of canary's posts, but I read Canary's last post in a different way to you- I thought it was just comment that once again AOG was plugging the Daily Mail (in Canary's view)- but can see you could say it was dodging the issue

well having inferred that the DM is wrong about a current news story simply because it's the DM and that story is reported by the pantheon of quality news I'd have thought an explanatory revisit was warranted.

Just wondered why she would need Gas Mantles, the last time I used these was when I holidayed in a caravan that didn't have piped Electricity.

And the last time I purchased them was during WW2.

AOG- I didn't say you were the only one. I was just at least attempting to interpret Canary's 'another Daily Mail plug' post which some expected him to return to and was deemed so significant as to warrant a new thread
