Erm , how bizarre - based on what I heard I can only agree with you.
Ooooft...
Weirdo...
Dear me!!

I'm not that weird really.
Wellllll.... :-)
Not as bizarre as the interview he had just done with Lionel Shriver (who you can just see) and Will Self. Incoherent and rambling, both of them. Not a great advert for the “writers world”.
In fact I’m not sure I understand what is bizarre at all: the “so many white people” comment? . I think he was commenting on the diversity or lack of it of the protesters. Or maybe he was wound up by the fact that the Channel 4 film crew had been attached by Yaxley-Lennon’s thugs in Downing St. Anyway, hopefully the situation dissolved peacefully, more peacefully than this thread is likely to anyway lol.
Strange thing to say.
Counting the colours of people present, is just bizarre in itself, ich. And what point was he trying to make anyway?

Did he say the same about the remain march?
Question Author
Looks like a huge crowd of racist remainers to me.

Oh my! Not the first time he has been (to quote a responder)'very silly' in recent years.

Will Self has never been a great advert for the “writers world” - or for anything else....in my opinion.
'Accusations of bias
In June 2017, it was reported that Snow had shouted "f++k the Tories" at Glastonbury. He was criticised for his views on air by a guest on Channel 4 News, and former Conservative minister Grant Shapps later refused to appear on the show, doubting its neutrality. Shapps stated: "I don’t think he [Jon Snow] can deal in an even handed manner in any interview with a Conservative MP. He has lost all credibility." MP Andrew Bridgen called for Snow's resignation, arguing that Snow's "extreme views" were incompatible with an impartial interviewer. Rival presenter for the BBC, Andrew Marr, commented that if he had made similar comments, he would have lost his job.'

A champagne-socialist if ever there was one.
Has anyone tried to read Will Self's 'Umbrella'?

I did,I will never get those years back :-(
^Exactly.
one of my colleagues lost his job over a mirror comment
(I have never seen so many brown faces)

everyone including herself agreed she should not represent her colleagues in any council office

[clearly she kept her day job]

all done without screaming rioting and knives
representations were made behind closed doors ....
Strange, but seems to be causing more fuss here than warranted.
Maybe he meant 'thick'?
He should get out more, maybe come to Scotland.
Perhaps most of our Non-White people are pro EU?
