....will apply this year as the RBL will now only allow military veterans to participate at the Cenotaph in London. It will now be called
"The Veterans March". I don't know where this leaves all the youth organisations that generally take part, but I think the numbers marching will be greatly reduced. We have had an email from the RBL explaining who will be allowed to participate and our association will not be marching this year. Sad, but I have no issue at all giving up our places for veterans. After all, that was the intention of the original parade in 1927.

why is this?
It could be that applications were greater than the capacity allowed.

There are still war widows who always attended.
seems a pity that civvies that still remember and want to give thanks will be denied...especially the widows...
