Yup
Next step???
So how many of them changed their minds? And the trickier question: why did they?
The vote tomorrow on leaving without that deal.
Then if that results in parliament voting not to leave without that deal, a vote on Thursday to ask the EU for more time.
What happens then who yet knows
40 extra votes this time for deal.
I think it is a victory for pariamentary democracy to be honest
Free vote tomorrow = No whips allowed
The strange thing is, this means one of two things: Gina Miller has either stopped Brexit, as she was vilified and threatened for doing all that long time ago but no one ever seems to mention her now, or else she has helped deliver the fantasy of the ultra Brexiters.
I’m betting she’ll get no thanks for the latter and no further threats or abuse for the former.
It’s a mad old world ...
It’s a free vote on the Tory side

"...or else she has helped deliver the fantasy of the ultra Brexiters."

What is an "ultra Brexiter", ickky? Isn't that rather akin to being slightly pregnant?
You know perfectly well what I’m talking about NJ.
now we should absquatulate forthwith.
There isn't a chance of parliament voting for that though, TTT
"You know perfectly well what I’m talking about NJ."

No I don't. I never have all along. You're either in the EU and subject to its jurisdiction or your out of it and are not. There really is nothing in between and it is foolhardy to pretend there is. That has been the trouble throughout. The EU will not countenance anything which gives a country any of the advantages of membership without a them being able to exercise a great deal of control. We're not talking about a trade deal here. We're talking about the movement of people goods and money, citizens' rights, environmental measures and a whole lot more. Mrs May's deal is testament to that. I've read probably two thirds or more of it (before I gave up and saw it for what is was). That's their privilege. To believe they will allow such a situation is naive.
'No deal is better than a bad deal'
Prime Minister Teresa May (ad nauseum)
The majority just voted it was a bad deal. Get your hiking boots out now and stop trying to polish a turd. We should walk!
FF they don't have to vote for it and even if they vote against it it does not stop no deal. The departure date and time is set in statute, that would need to be repealed before 29/Mar.
I repeat NJ: you know perfectly well what I’m talking about (or can’t you tell the difference between Sammy Wilson and say Andrew Murrison)
You just don’t agree with me. Which is fine :-)
That depends on what happens in the vote on Thursday, TTT- we could vote to seek to delay things- a further 21 months has been suggested
yes FF but none of that matters unless they repeal the statute.
