Well,if there is any consistency Mr Javid should strip their citizenship too.

The trouble is,the only consistent thing in politics is inconsistency.
Seems an extreme response to someone disowning their daughter :-)
Looks like javid *** things up with the fighter do I guess he’s learned his lesson.
With the “daughter”
- or is auto correct intelligent :-)
says the fine family man who went back to Bangladesh and married a second wife. Javid needs more supporters like that.
//‘I never saw anything of concern in her at the time,’ he added. ‘She was as usual, normal. She never used to pray regularly, she was not that Islamic-minded.’//

An interesting statement.Which makes me think the alleged 'brainwashing' would have taken quite some time.If she wasn't that religious and wasn't inclined to be,why would she be so easily moulded into deeply radical beliefs?

I don't buy it.
Odd , if true

Seems there must have been a falling out with daughter , or something
sounds as if he was hardly ever there, agchristie. My guess would be he told the Mail what it wanted to hear and was paid accordingly.
I think it's just to limit any comeback he might get. Don't believe a word he says. Very unprincipled and that's putting it nicely.
Jno,I certainly think we should take his words with more than a degree of caution.

There are inconsistencies (that word again...)
Bazile, he seems to have fallen out with the whole family, burgered off back to Bangla and got himself a new model wife.
I think we can expect many jihadi brides knocking on our door and many subsequent lengthy court cases.

The G3 case law must be of significant worry to the Home Secretary.
I think it's proper, agchristie. These women may be problems (or they may have had their eyes opened, they won't all be the same), but if they're British, then they're British problems and the country shouldn't seek to palm them off on someone else; they should be dealt with as other British criminals are.
I thought the Bangladesh government said that this woman had no family in Bangladesh and had never been to the country.

Am I wrong?
What about the hundreds that have come back already over the past two or three years? No-one seems to know where a lot of them have disappeared to. We don't have enough security staff to follow each and every one of them.
I don't know why they've let any back. To be consistent every case needs to be re-examined, and those proven to have acted against the UK and it's decision, banished from the realm.
Well,it matters very little what her father's views are in the scheme of things.

What matters now in this case is purely the Home Secretary's decision in the context of the law.One thing is for sure,Mr Javid will not want to be outmanoeuvred on this.

Mind you,Theresa May was successfully challenged on other thorny issues in the courts but it didn't stop her claiming the PM status!

Whether she is a proven terrorist or not, she left this country to join Isis a banned group and in turn married an ISIS fighter.

If we have to have her back she should get similar treatment as those French women who had Nazi boyfriends etc. and that is to have her hair shaven and marched through the streets of London, and banned from wearing the Burka and forced to wear Western dress, which shouldn't be too much trouble for her seeing that her father says she is not religious.
//says the fine family man who went back to Bangladesh and married a second wife. Javid needs more supporters like that.//

All perfectly pukka jno. That is what Muslim men are allowed to do. Abandon their wives and marry others. Why the wives turn a blind eye to their husbands grooming and don't say a dicky bird either.
That is their religion and culture. I thought you would champion the ethnic culture.
Why doesn't someone just shoot her? yer know. The Joe Stalin Solution.
