Looks busy on the Webcam
what's happened to the "anti drone" measures they installed?
Oddly, only take-offs are affected. A flight from Oslo is landing as I type this and there's one from Seoul right behind it.
Departures have now recommenced
less odd for others
airplanes travel at 500 mph but land at around 150 mph
so jet engines may not be used

( or more simply - "no jetski doesnt mean no landski"
or even
"no jetski --> no landski - no! no!"

Open again: this is like Father Dougal testing the Christmas tree lights: “working Ted, no, yes, no ...”

Somehow sums up the country we seem to be becoming.
I wondered how long it would be before that happened..
>what's happened to the "anti drone" measures they installed?

I suppose it depends whether this was a genuine drone or just another false alarm. It must be quite easy for mischief makers to generate a dozen or so reports
@18:02 "Oddly only takes offs are affected" That is because there is more than one runway
^Unless a drone is limited to the area over take-off runways only - which it can't be - that makes no sense at all.
oh come on - be fair - this is AB !
What we need are a few strategically placed barrage-balloons and ack-ack guns.
^and something that would detect whether there really was a drone rather than just claimed sightings from synchronated pranksters
I hope the punishment is severe, should the perpetrator(s) be found.
is it a man, is it a bird, is it a plane? Lets assume it's a drone.. SHUT THE RUNWAY!
What's particularly despicable is that the drone was up there in the dark (over the take off point on the runway), probably in the hope that it wouldn't have been so easily spotted.
Where is the evidence ?

As I said in another thread, it's a false flag operation by anti-drone brigade.
