As with all 'matters of conscience'...... If you don't agree with it......don't do it. You don't agree with Abortion? Don't have one. You don't agree with 'gay marriage'? Don't get 'gay married'. Allow those who are making their own personal decisions the freedom to do so, and certainly don't try to restrict someone's rights based on the supposed utterings...

Excellent news for those in the South, now hopefully the North will feel more able to follow suit x
About time.
Not before time, should have happened ages ago. Still, always better to welcome progress.

republic darling - republic,
you are in the South, K - they arent
and anyway whilst we are there - do they have abortion in the catskills, or have they shot all the doctors?

Happy n ew year Kval - give your red neck luffer my regards and if he has a gun, even more polite regards - suh!
If only it were that simple. We don’t even have an assembly running to pass any legislation and I can just see Jacob Rees-Mogg badgering his chums in the DUP about it.
It is very good news, but Kval it will never happen in the north unfortunately due to the political stance of the parties.
OH MY GOD
My OMG was at Peter!!!
How people can rejoice at the legalised murder of unborn babes is beyond me.

And those enthusiasts banging the "women's right to choose" drum should ponder the fact that half the victims are female whose rights are totally over-ridden.

Canary42 people aren't living in roman catholic 1890 anymore. There are many justified reasons for abortion, and fair, those reasons are probably beyond you also.
Canary we are rejoicing in being given the right to have control over our bodies
It's not rejoicing!!
@Canary -- K
I am rejoicing in the end of dangerous back street abortions, the births of unwanted, unloved babies and for some women the end of potentially life threatening pregnancies.
Well said, Canary. They are disgusting.

By the way, try and get your act together;
#Rockrose Canary we are rejoicing in being given the right to have control over our bodies
ummmm It's not rejoicing!!#
Pete...If you're of my Dad's persuasion it's the North of (never Northern) and South of...however... :)
I'm sadly not with 'luffer' til later in the month but I'm sure he's fine and unlikely to shoot anyone:)

Canary- who is rejoicing exactly? Women simply don't want to be obligated to bear the children of their rapists, have little girls who have suffered incest attacks or be compelled to continue with a pregnancy which might well ( and has in many instances) kill them.
Good. Common sense.
Spicerack - I think you might misunderstand me. I'm pro choice and I'm Irish.

For years Irish women have been coming to England for abortions.
