Should this be on BBC or ITV?
Is Jeremy trying to wriggle out of it? Or should we respect his desire to watch I’m A Celebrity?
Should the debate not have clashed rather more appropriately with Pointless?

Been better on one of the comedy channels.
Unbelievable.

I suppose it makes sense that someone with their head stuck in the 70s hasn't heard of catch-up.
"Mr Corbyn claimed he preferred ITV's bid out of "respect" for viewers who wanted to watch the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! final on ITV the same evening - 9 December. " - well allowing this tish to have any effect on something like this is a sad indictment of our society.
The man is utterly pathetic.
what a strange story,
if jeremy is so worried he might miss celebrity has he never heard of i player or catch up? some people have to work
A complete waste of time. Can’t really see what is in it for Corbyn if he did accept.
It would make more sense to debate AFTER the vote is lost in parliament.
what's in it either of them? Or indeed US? The sooner they shelve this ridiculous US import the better.
I can't see any point to this debate in the first place. Gawd knows what she think she's going to achieve by it.

Corbyn arguing about what channel it's on is just pathetic.

I don't know what she thinks will be achieved by it either - or any of her other publicity stunts.
going round the country seemed a foolhardy decision, but lets see what happens on 9th December if that goes ahead.
Probably, behind the scenes, both the BBC and ITV are trying to pass the buck onto the other.
Hat off to Corbyn on this.

"Mr Corbyn claimed he preferred ITV's bid out of "respect" for viewers who wanted to watch the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! final on ITV the same evening - 9 December.

"I want to watch it myself," he said." --- more BBC falsehoods, he said neither.

IF the BBC had included the prior 24 seconds of this interview things may have been a lot clearer ( as this 'brutal', male, 'This Morning' interviewer tries to put words into Corbyn's mouth )

As McEnroe would say you cannot be serious...
Jeremy being a pathetic little worm why not just take up the BBC offer and keep it where it should (in my opinion) be. The PM is the PM so she should decide where and when it shall be. the PM also "accepted the BBC's offer" so it SHOULD (in my opinion) not even be up for debate.

Teresa sounds an Italian name imo. Capitulation,it seems, runs in the blood. :-(
