You can try and fund anything via a GoFundMe- how successful that is will depend on if you're a terminally ill child or a lazy nitwit, most GoFundMe's never get near their target.

but its still a holiday, if shes that desperate she could take out a loan, or get a part time job.

I have made donations to a couple of requests on the site.

It would have to be something unusual and not a need that could be predicted - a local couple allowed a feral cat to live in their garden and it was then involved in a major cat accident. I felt comfortable about paying money to this cause, even though they were strangers to me.

But many of the requests are just taking to pee.

I would have thought that a return airfare to Canada (she never mentions the actual location in that huge country) would cost more, especially if she's going the western parts. Personally, I think she's just after the money.
