Wow. That was an uninspiring budget.
Is this a Government that has run out of ideas?

Imagination is one thing it's run out of.

There are many more. I'm sure you can give us a list.

And, of course, a number of things like moral principle it never started with.
rejoice, austerity is at an end, I see the green shoots of recovery. And a big tax break for me - what's not to like?
it will all go out the window if a Brexit deal is not forthcoming, Hammond said that it would have to be an emergency budget..
The price of booze ain't going up. That'll suit me just fine.
Not a lot of point promising the earth when brexit could make the whole thing obsolete.
Yet more Project Fear (sigh).
I reckon a no deal could be best. Europe needs us more than we need them!
Not at all, but it is sensible to expect a range of responses to a changing situation. I voted leave, I would still vote leave I don't like big organisations in any area of life
I agree
Osborne also said their would be an emergency budget simply if we voted to leave. Well we left and there was no emergency budget.

Project fear may or may not come to fruition. It may be a pimple easily washed away or a carbuncle needing demolition work.

I voted to leave and would do so again.
Criticising the Government you’ve voted to have control of everything again, Cassa.

Oh, the irony.
It would have been a good idea to release the figures that show the amount being squandered on the health care costs, housing costs, prison costs, "monitoring" costs, schooling costs, detention centre costs, etc. etc. for the exciting, third world, diversity bringing invaders. £900 million a day is a figure that keeps sneaking out. That would make a lot of difference to our social services and health care services I am sure.
If nothing else, the vote to Leave had one positive outcome; it got rid of Cameron and Osborne.
And replaced them with much better alternatives.

Oh, hang on.........
""Threats by Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip ‘Remainer Phil’ Hammond to scrap Monday’s austerity-busting budget in the event of a ‘No Deal’ Brexit have been slapped down by the Prime Minister, who insists all spending commitments will be funded whatever happens.""

So speaks the "First Lord Of The Treasury". Who happens to trump the "Chancellor Of The Exchequer" in the pecking order.
Let’s face it, Togo, you could add the epithet ‘remainer’ to just about every person who’s ‘dealing’ with Brexit.

// diversity bringing invaders //

Good to see Trump’s new buzz word ‘invaders’ being adopted so readily by AB hard right.
I thought it was pretty good, eg with the thresholds rising most in employment will be better off. Not sure what you were hoping to see gromit.
The "Potty Party" spend it on potholes, Not the Police Force. Budget for the Crims.
If you are doing the right thing for the situation does it matter if its not "inspiring"....that's like deriding making the beds and doing the washing up because "its not inspiring"
