The Mail on Sunday can now reveal that this alleged rapist was, incredibly, given a say in the future care of the young boy, and could have a role in his upbringing

Why did social services negotiate with her rapist over the future of her son, surely he should have been locked away?

But that was not the only time:

At the time he wasn’t convicted, so was an innocent man. Now after his conviction they must re-look at the case. He is hardly going to be a paricipating father from behind bars.

appalling story, i read the whole lot, and it doesn't explain why he/they, weren't up in court charged with
child rape.

It is a dreadful story compounded by the inadequacy/collusion/dereliction of duty of various agencies who should have been able to step in and stop this monstrous abuse.

I hope that Sarah manages to piece her life back together and finds happiness somewhere.

Nothing surprises me any more. I recall a case a few years ago where a child had been born, the sperm donor wanted nothing to do with her or the child, paid no support ever, yet when there was a payout for something in respect of the child, he successfully claimed 50% of it!

there are some very wicked people about, personally i would string them up, but yet again our judiciary won't allow it.
