Where is this less violent more tolerant society that certain ABers tell us exists.
This is a shocking example of a 77 year old black woman being racially abused and the airline staff doing little to quell the issue.
Th man should have been ejected off the plane immediately.

Sqad calls for the reintroduction of capital punishment - “The man should have been ejected off the plane immediately.”

At 30,000 feet? Fair enough, he was a git.

LOL ^^^
I'm a pretty chilled out person but I couldn't have listened to that without reacting.
The plane hadn't taken off. He could have been removed.
still at Barcelona airport, the story says. He should have been removed.
well the fact that it has caused a strong reaction on here suggests that it does exist in some places.
Without a doubt he should have been removed from the plane but I bet Ryan Air didn't because they have to pay penalties if a plane is delayed.
Shocking behaviour.
If he had been drunk he would have been removed. Apparently a racial bigot seems to be acceptable to Ryan Air.
This was on Twitter a few days ago and everyone was say share his picture and out him as a racist.
I think though, outing him as a racist was a pointless exercise because I doubt he cares and acts like this all the time.

I was very surprised at the calmness and lack of intervention of the other passengers.
That's my point Talbot....I couldn't have watched it without saying something.
The issue is the man is so self righteous he doesn't want to sit next to the lady when in reality she probably doesn't want to be sat next to his fat *** either.
Another video on the DM of a similar (presumably different) man shouting angrily at security guards in Sainsburys.

Removing him from the plane (and possibly his luggage), would have delayed the flight and caused misery and problems for all the passengers.
The lady should have been gently moved safely away from this odious creature in case he became violent.
The airline would have his name and passport details and they should be passed on to all other carriers to ban him from flying again.
He was the one in the wrong not her so she should have been allowed to stay in her seat and he should have been removed from his. He has been rewarded for his rude and unacceptable behaviour by getting what he wanted. Horrible disgusting excuse for a man.
Other passengers did intervene, particularly the chap sitting behind them.
We have heard the police are cracking down on everything alleged to be a hate crime. Plenty of video evidence there. It may have occurred in Barcelona but presumably the aircraft was British or Irish registered. They should of radioed ahead and arranged a welcoming party by Essex Police.
If he was drunk they would have delayed the flight to remove him and his luggage. Its happened before

Well, whether you deal with him immediately or afterwards, at least there's broad consensus that this is unacceptable.
It does bring to mind the apocryphal story of a passenger who makes loud protest at being seated next a Hasidic Jew. The cabin crew visit the cockpit, and then speak to the two passengers - "The captain has apologised for this disgraceful circumstance, and has offered you an upgrade to First Class free of charge." The angry passenger makes to move to the front of the plane and is advised that it is actually the Jewish passenger who is being re-located. "There must be some mistake!" blusters the bigot. "Oh no sir," says the cabin crew member smiling sweetly, "Captain Cohen doesn't make mistakes like that."

LOl ^^
This answers my post. The aircraft was registered in Dublin but as not in flight the incident could only be dealt with by Guarda Civil at Barcelona. Incident described as a "spectacular failure" by Ryan Air.
