Yes as they are only headscarves, which they already sell in the ladies department.
Yes, some Muslim schoolgirls wear the hijab.
No I don't, but they are a business and will see a gap in the market and an opportunity. I think they are dreadful, must take some getting used to, be unbelievably hot and uncomfortable, all I can say is poor little girls, how can they do handstands and cartwheels as I see my 8 year old GD doing with her friends? Not quite as bad a feet binding, but what are the men afraid of ? Themselves ?

I really can't see why M&S should be banned from selling them, many other outlets will still be available to purchase them from.
If they don't buy them at M&S they will buy them elsewhere. I seriously can't imagine any young child pestering mummy for one of those so the 'choice' argument is deceptive.
Rockrose that looks nothing like the ones being sold in M&S
its a customer review who suggests sizing for a 4 year old. Should Marks have censored the review?

Yes it is all wrong for their parents to instil in their little girl's minds, that it is deemed immodest to show their hair.
These must be sold to extremist families because I've seen plenty of young Muslim girls not wearing the hijab. What else are the parents instilling in them I wonder?
Because AL its black on a black mannequin by the looks of it - bad photography I suspect
/These must be sold to extremist families /
What?
That's such a uneducated comment to make.
Rockrose. I have Muslim tenants, they have three girls age between 5 and 13. They don't wear the hijab, their mother does, but pretty colours and Western style clothes. Any parents that insist a 4 year old wear the hijab must hold extremest fundamental views. Why would they make them do it otherwise?

No it's not, any parent sending their little girl to school in one of those must be extreme.
AOG, Extreme how?
I have Muslim friends back in England and their little girls wear them out and about and they are certainly not extremists.
Actually I have to correct my description to Islamic fundamentalists
