It seems dodgy.

Seems most are going with the wasting Police time theme.

If this is so they should be prosecuted and thrown into jail.
As soon as I saw the photos of the 'victim' I concluded it was most likely a publicity stunt. She is ,however ,literally dicing with death to suggest the KGB had something to do with it.
As posted elsewhere earlier, the Sun should also be ashamed of themselves for publishing this article in the first place. Staggering, even by their standards.
I suspect the Russians think it's all very amusing.
Oh dear, Vlad won't be happy about this....

Ms Shapiro may well wake up one day and find herself dead at the hands of someone more competent.
Why, they interviewed a person from what the Police were treating as a major crime site.

Kval, the reason i'm surfacing this news is yet again, the media says something, and we're suddenly in fear mode. It needs to stop.
Are you really in fear mode, spath?

Why? I'm not.....
Question Author
well i'm not. But i remember duscussion aroudn this, when it happened, i was very blase about it.. others told me i was disrespectful . Turns out we should have all been a bit more blase..

People saying we're being invaded etc.. and we don;t even know it by Russian spys? I think those were scared
Fear mode?
Question Author
Do you think some in sailsbury would have been scared?
People are indoctrinated to panic like hell over the most trivial of things that can't possibly affect them and I think it's a form of attention seeking. Have you ever noticed if there is ever a disaster, and those 'mark yourself safe' things pop up on the internet people will mark themselves safe for places and things they've been near?
Gah, 'they've never been near' crikey :/
In Salisbury yes, which is why this whole incident reflects badly on the Sun printing an unsubstantiated and frankly unlikely story - and of course the couple themselves. You said ‘we’re’ though
Question Author
"we're" is commonly used to describe people in and around your place of residence, in this case it was just the whole of england

Yes Kval i totally agree..
I don’t get the feeling there is a national panic going on about this
