So , she wasn't pedalling then ?

Not that amazing
She had to pedal the last 3.5 miles.
Totally agree Baz. The world record for a 25 mile time trial is 42 min 52 sec, average speed nearly 35 mph, that's some going in my eyes, with no assistance at all. My ex husband was desperate to break evens, i.e. 25 miles in under an hour, which he achieved many times over the years getting down to 53 mins(can't remember exactly) that was in the 70's on open roads. So I'm mind boggled by today's times
There was a person who rode a bike behind a train ( the track sleepers were covered with smooth plates) at over 100mph years ago back in the 1960s I think. There was a film of it on TV. I think they got up to over 110 mph.

Ok, well I thought it was amazing. I still do.
Clover I'd didn't mean to be rude - she still had to do her bit albeit very assisted:-)
