I don't really like the man, but he has my sympathy. To be smeared in such a way by anonymous complaints for which the onus is now on him to prove his innocence, and even if he can -his word against theirs - a cloud always hangs forever, it must be an awful nightmare and can today, happen to anyone.

hang on, ymb, I also dislike trial by media ... but it hasn't happened. All tha has happened so far is that allegations against a senior politician have been reported, as they should be. Nobody's assuming he's guilty. If anyone says as much on AB, I hope it'll be removed quickly.
