Should Pagans be allowed on Radio 4 to express their beliefs? Apparently climate change makes the pagans views much more relevant now than ever before.

Why not? They’re no dafter than any other religious group.
Yeah, why not?
I don't see a problem with Pagans having a say.
No dafter than some other groups whether religious or not, who listens to radio 4 apart from Archers followers.

I agree that they should be given the platform because it is given to speakers from many different faiths.
I'm not sure it's even a faith is it? They revere things that actually exist, like the earth, the sun, nature, the seasons etc.

Faiths tend to concentrate on fictitious stuff.
No, I have no problem with them.
Have the Satanists been given a say yet ?
wedgie benn - not a noted theologian did Thought of the Day
and attracted some unkind comments -

I mean they all say the same thing
dont kill kidz - dont throw acid in peoples faces
think of others and so on ....
Live harmoniously within the world, do harm to others, respect the life of things you eat and care for the planet. Trouble is Paganism has so many variations who will do the talking... the pagan federation ? Do you listen to the Celtic pathway, The temple of Isis, etc
//Have the Satanists been given a say yet ?//
Maybe not on Thought For The Day but they have at city council meetings in the U.S.A.

It seems irrelevant in this thread however.
Just shows the diversity of all religions....each thinking 'their's' Is the true one and right to follow. Think IMO best to treat as a hobby...some like stamp collecting, some like fishing....you don't have to like or agree with it.....just accept ome like what they follow and others show disdain or take the proverbial because it doesn't meet their criteria.

All I ever ask is....don't preach to me, don't force your views (hobby) on me and we shall get on just fine.
It's interesting how many religions revolve around rituals and dressing up - it must appeal to a common urge in the human psyche to join together and look at people in fancy dress.

All of them, and not just religions. Take a look at the house of commons or courts of law. We humans just love dressing up in silly costumes and doing a ritual. If there's a bit of group chanting involved, so much the better.
