I guess giving over the top ridiculous answers Kvalidir means yo uno longer have a reasonable argument. Unfortunately the Lefty liberals have a habit of doing this and not only in the US. They cannot bear to loose because in their eyes there is no alternative to their view. In the US it is a stupid thing to do. If they want to win the next POTUS they need to start...

There is no anti democracy brigade TTT, except people who object to people who don't like Trump protesting about the fact ( which is a democratic right ironically enough).
I don't think The Liberals are an anti-democracy brigade.

Unless you mean liberals - people who have a liberal view point, and I don't believe they are anti-democracy either.
I don't think you read the article, Kvalidir. It's talking about the Sarah Huckabee incident when she and her family were asked to leave a restaurant. And Congresswoman Maxine Water's endorsement of such actions:

"The American people have put up with this president long enough," she said. "If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them!".

This falls short of the minimum requirements of civil behaviour. This is not the way decent people treat each other in a true democracy.

The same people moaning about this are the very people who whoop with delight if bakers can decline to bake wedding cakes for Gay clients. The double standards are frankly amazing.
They've caught it from the President - the nastiest the US have ever produced.

kvaldir; "There is no anti democracy brigade TTT, except people who object to people who don't like Trump protesting about the fact ( which is a democratic right ironically enough).
" - but they are doing more than protesting, they are bullying.
I don’t think your comparing apples with apples there, Kval. Being of a political persuasion is a choice. Being gay isn’t, so the discrimination isn’t comparable.
Telling someone you don't want them on your premises because you don't like the way they behave is a right apparently TTT. Personally I wouldn't have taken it that far, but some people are happy to.

"Telling someone you don't want them on your premises because you don't like the way they behave is a right apparently TTT." - that's not the case, they are barred because they support Trump, nowt to do with behaviour.
Yes that's very true Zacs x
// A traditional role of the president has been to play mediator, not instigator - a force for civic reconciliation, not confrontation.
This president, however, frequently finds strength in conflict, and he appears to sense that railing against enemies on the left could be a useful way to animate his political base. //

Very true, Tora. The ‘behaviour’ aspect is a red herring.

"Interrupted dinners, driveway confrontations, threatening leaflets. Donald Trump administration officials are increasingly facing harassment from liberals enraged by the president's words and actions. " - can you imagine the outpourings if the boot was on the other foot? Even the harshest political enemies accept that their enemies have a private life and leave them alone in it, not the liberals though who cannot comprehend why everyone does not agree with the "correct" view on any given subject.
Let’s get nasty I say. Why should Trump and his ilk have a monopoly on nastiness
'Let's get nasty'?
That'd end in tears. And not for Trump supporters.
Well there you are then, problem solved Spicey, all the gun toting immigrant hating good ole boys can just shoot all the liberals and bury them in the woods then you won't have to worry about who can and can't eat in a flaming restaurant.

If they want to win the next POTUS they need to start focusing on a winning campaign, not a negative one like they are current;ly doing.

If he is that bad he won’t get a second term. However it looks like his supporters actually, well support him.

It isn’t anti democratic to oppose something or someone. If they were trying to overturn his presidential vote it perhaps would be.

I think it is just a case of people, society in general has become nastier. I don’t agree with you therefore you are fare game for abuse, sort of thing.

Our own left is getting nastier as well. And not just against our politicians. Remainers are whingers, weak, VB, anti UK. Brexiteers are even called worse. Knuckle dragging xenophobic half brights who can’t tell the difference between what we should have voted for and what we did.

It is a modern trait to take our distance to the limit and not care unless of course you make a comment against a recognised minority.
"Unfortunately the Lefty liberals have a habit of doing this and not only in the US. They cannot bear to loose because in their eyes there is no alternative to their view. "

exactly...you only have to see how the leftie fascists over here are when they dont get their way..brexit for instance.

leftie liberals seem to think they hold the moral highground and only their ideology, views and opinions can be considered right and proper and in todays 'murrica hating on Donald Trump is the right on thing to do dahling...
