Only time will tell.He is a complex character.
No
Most disruptive maybe.
No.
Harder questions please
He appears to be doing right by America but not a great deal for international relations. However much his opponents hate him, he might be just what America needs.

I personally wish we could find another Churchill or Thatcher to sort this Country out.
No.

Even if he manages to denuclearise North Korea, and you count that as a tick, there have been many crosses in the past 18 months.

No doubt his followers already believe he is. Definitely no doubt that he believes he is! However, he is far too devisive for the whole of the country to regard him as such. And, let's face it, he's a complete bully.
His antics over trade could put thousands of Americans out of work.
Unfortunately the country is saddled with a narcissistic, vein and frankly hopeless individual. The only ‘plus’ is the vague idea that somehow ‘shock tactics’ might work. But that hope is looking rather faint. I’m delighted he’s going to marry Mr Kim at Windsor (London is too dangerous of course) but I think it’ll take more than that
Gromit, if Trump manages to denuclearise NK, his critics should grab a towel and wipe the egg off their faces.
Trump won’t denuclearise N Korea. You may be sure of that. However, jaw jaw etc and all that. And it is quite a jaw...
NoMercy,

Only last month, Trump tore up a denuclearisation agreement which the US had signed.

Funny how well Trump gets on with Communist and ex-Communist Dictators.
Don't underestimate Trump, he's nobody's fool. He's an incredibly successful if not overly likable man.

Historically there have been many controversial alliances. Thatcher and Pinochet ... Galloway and Saddam Hussain, just no name a couple.
Pinochet, despite murdering many of his own people, was very helpful to the UK when we were fighting the Argies. He was a friend to Britain, and Thatcher was very grateful.
Not sure you can call Galloway/Saddam Hussain an alliance. It certainly did not benefit either party. Galloway took the lefty anti-war stance on Iraq, while ignoring Saddam’s gasing of his own people. His support for Saddam was more of a cynical and opportunistic publicity stunt.
Clearly a few on here would prefer WW3 to peace.

What strange views.
I don't disagree on your thought regarding Galloway but let's not criticise Trump, for he had done what many of his predecessors have failed to do.

I am not overly keen on Trump as a person but I'm fed up of constant Trump bashing.
well he's been by far the best since Ron, and may well be the most effective in History.
The legacy of leaders is very much about being in the right place at the right time.

Historical events which may have occurred anyway, can be attributed to the leader who was around at the time, even if he or she had little or nothing to do with influencing those events.

The Korean situation is a prime example.

I seriously doubt that Kim is dis-arming his country because of anything to do with Trump, but history may accord Trump the accolade of having made it happen.
Maybe thesshhh ....
